Teriyaki Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients
Meatballs:
- 2 pounds lean ground turkey
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 cup green onions diced
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 2 Tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
Teriyaki Sauce:
- 1/2 cup Truvia Brown Sugar Blend
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons garlic garlic
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
- Combine all meatball ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Roll into meatballs 1-inch in size (forming 36 meatballs). Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While meatballs are cooking, whisk together sauce ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently, and cook for 3-5 minutes or until slightly thickened; remove from heat.
- When meatballs have finished cooking, transfer meatballs to a mixing bowl, pour sauce on top and toss gently to coat before serving.
Notes
One serving size is 6 meatballs.
