Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pounds boneless pork chops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Preheat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops to skillet, season with salt and pepper and sear each side until golden brown. Place seared pork chops in a slow cooker sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, mix together garlic, ketchup, soy sauce and honey until well combined then pour over pork chops. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  • After cooking, remove pork chops from slow cooker and set aside on a plate. Pour sauce from the slow cooker into a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to form a slurry, then whisk into sauce. Cook, stirring continuously, for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Pour sauce over pork chops before serving.
