Slow Cooker Beef Bolognese

Ingredients
- 2 pounds 92% lean ground beef
- 1 yellow onion diced
- 1 Tablespoon garlic minced
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 beef bouillon cubes crushed
- 1 Tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 bay leaves
Instructions
- Add ground beef and diced onion to a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook, breaking up, until browned and onion is tender. Add garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Drain excess grease and transfer meat to a 6- quart slow cooker.
- Add remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Remove bay leaves and stir to combine. Serve over pasta or as desired.

Serve over: Pasta, zucchini noodles, spaghetti squash noodles, etc. (not included in nutrition information)
