Churro Protein Waffles

Ingredients

Waffle:

  • 3 cups Kodiak Cakes Buttermilk Power Cakes Mix
  • 3 (25 gram) scoops whey snickerdoodle or similar protein powder
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Light melted
  • 2/3 cup Truvia Cane Sugar Blend
  • 2 Tablespoons cinnamon

Instructions

  • Whisk all waffle ingredients together until well combined.
  • Pour into a preheated and greased waffle iron, using 1/3 cup for each waffle.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes or until waffles are golden brown.
  • Melt butter in a shallow dish; set aside. Mix Truvia and cinnamon in a shallow dish; set aside.
  • Immediately after cooking, dip or brush each side of the waffle with melted butter then sprinkle Truvia mixture on both sides.
  • Serve with sugar-free caramel, chocolate or maple syrup (not included in nutrition info)
