Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds honey crisp apples diced
- 1 Tablespoon butter melted
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 (25 gram) scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Topping:
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 (25 gram) scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 Tablespoons butter melted
- 1 Tablespoon pure maple syrup
- 1 egg white
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8×8- inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine diced apples, melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, protein powder, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread mixture in an even layer in the bottom of prepared pan.
- Combine all topping ingredients and sprinkle on top.
- Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 20 minutes, or until golden brown on top. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
