BBQ Turkey Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 pound 93% lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup yellow onion diced
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans pinto beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 3 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle G Hughes Original Sugar-Free BBQ Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon molasses
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions

  • In a large pot over medium-high heat, cook turkey and onion, breaking up meat, until cooked through and onion is tender. Drain excess liquid.
  • Add beans, tomatoes, bbq sauce, chili powder, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, cumin and brown sugar; mix until well combined.
  • Cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and let simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
