Maple Dijon Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • Dijon Maple Sauce:
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add water and beans to the skillet, bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Drain beans and return to skillet. Add butter and garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, combine all sauce ingredients then pour over green beans and toss to combine.
