Teriyaki Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients
- 2 pounds top sirloin steak thinly sliced
- 1 Tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil divided
- 4 ounces sliced red bell pepper
- 4 ounces sugar snap peas
- 4 ounces shredded carrots
- 2 Tablespoons diced green onion
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
Sauce:
- 2/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 Tablespoon ginger paste
- 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions
- Place beef in a mixing bowl and add soy sauce and pepper; stir to combine and set aside. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients; set aside.
- Add half the olive oil to a large skillet over medium- high heat then add the beef. Cook until browned on all sides and cooked through. Pour contents of the skillet, including extra liquid, into a bowl; set aside.
- Add remaining 1/2 Tablespoon of oil to the skillet and add bell pepper, peas and carrots. Sauté for 4- 5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
- Pour the beef and extra juice back into the skillet and stir to combine. Pour sauce in the skillet and toss to coat. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes, or until thickened. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds before serving.

This recipe is delicious! My husband and I both loved the flavors.
Flavor is excellent! We chose to grill our steak and add in last but the whole meal was delicious as super quick to make. We served it on top of rice. Big hit!
